With offices in Boston, Virginia and New York, Actualize Consulting is
a professional services firm specializing in business process engineering
and technology implementations for financial institutions. By enhancing
corporate finance and accounting activities, our business and technical
services help our clients issue and invest in debt including securitized
assets and use derivatives to manage financial and operational risks.
At Actualize Consulting, our mission is to be an industry leader in the

Actualize Consulting’s veteran executive team recognizes the importance of consistent, seasoned management and is singularly focused on providing the highest possible value to our clients. Key members of this team include:
Justin F. Genzlinger
Mr. Genzlinger is one of two Principals with Actualize. He manages the Fixed Income practice with individual concentration in accounting for residential and commercial mortgage banking institutions inclusive of primary, secondary and capital markets. He provides thought leadership to his clients through technical accounting standard implementations, organization planning, accounting processes engineering, transactional system implementations, reporting & analytical applications and corporate governance and compliance efforts. His competency within fixed-income markets results primarily through his experience with high profile government sponsored enterprises (“GSE”) engagements. Specifically, the remediation associated with multi-billion dollar restatement efforts at Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. At Actualize, Mr. Genzlinger has lead engagements around the country for financial services clients with a focus on accounting for mortgage-backed securities, mortgage loans, securitization, debt issuance, derivatives, portfolio analytics and management reporting.
Prior to Actualize, Mr. Genzlinger worked as a Sr. Director within the Investment & Capital Markets group at Freddie Mac. Prior to Freddie Mac, Mr. Genzlinger consulted with Capital Advisory Services. He began his career as a staff accountant and auditor at Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Genzlinger received his B.S in Accounting from Lehigh University. He is a level III CFA candidate. He has spoken at several industry conferences. Finally, he is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (“MBA”) where he sits on the Finance and Secondary and Capital Markets Committees.

Chad Wekelo
Chad Wekelo is the founder and one of two Principals at Actualize Consulting. In addition to his firm management responsibilities Mr. Wekelo leads the Capital Markets practice group for the firm. Mr. Wekelo specializes in the areas of accounting and treasury with a specific focus on trade execution, compliance and processing of complex financial products. Mr. Wekelo is based out of the New York office.
Prior to Actualize Consulting, Mr. Wekelo served as Manager with Capital Advisory Services and as a Senior Auditor with KPMG.
Mr. Wekelo received his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. He is a licensed CPA in Virginia and holds the CFA designation. He is a member of the AICPA, CFA Institute and the Mortgage Banker’s Association.

Kerry W. Elam
Kerry W. Elam serves as the Director of Operations and Human Resources with Actualize Consulting. Ms. Elam oversees the finance, marketing and recruiting functions of the firm and is also responsible for facilitating knowledge management, training, and social activities for the employees of the firm.
Prior to Actualize Consulting, Ms. Elam worked as a consultant with firms such as Freddie Mac, Logistics Management Institute and Accenture.
Ms. Elam received her B.S. in Finance and Marketing from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and earned her MBA from University of Phoenix.

Scott T. Dietz
Scott Dietz serves as a Senior Manager with Actualize Consulting, managing the development and operations of the Boston Office for the firm. Mr. Dietz is responsible for leading all business development, operations, and project initiatives in the Boston region. In addition to his firm responsibilities, Scott leads initiatives within the Accounting and Reporting practice and manages large client engagements for Actualize. He has experience leading projects consisting of scores of consultants across several company departments, including both business and IT. Mr. Dietz has particular accounting expertise for products such as mortgage-backed securities, mortgage loans, securitization, debt issuance, derivatives, portfolio analytics and management reporting. This expertise within the fixed income and mortgage industry is a direct result of his multi-year work with high profile government sponsored enterprise (“GSE”) Financial Restatements.
Prior to Actualize Consulting, Mr. Dietz served as a Manager with Freddie Mac where he managed several projects and initiatives in the area of Investments and Capital Markets Accounting. Prior to Freddie Mac, Mr. Dietz served as a Senior Auditor with the New England office of Ernst & Young in their Assurance and Business Advisory group.
Mr. Dietz received his B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting from Lehigh University and is a licensed CPA in Massachusetts. He is also a member of the AICPA.

Matthew J. Seu
Matt Seu serves as Director with Actualize Consulting, focusing on the Fixed Income and Securitization Operations.Mr. Seu and is responsible for managing the firm’s accounts with focus on the GSEs, large national mortgage companies, Wall Street broker dealers, and software companies supporting the fixed income and mortgage conduit arena.
Prior to Actualize Consulting, Mr. Seu served as a Vice President for Freddie Mac where he focused on large scale business and technology change efforts. Mr. Seu was responsible for redesigning a significant portion of Freddie Mac's operational infrastructure, and served as head of the corporate Enterprise Data Program.
Mr. Seu received his B.S. and MBA from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He has been a member of Mortgage Banker’s Association for two decades and sits on the Capital Markets Committee.

Irving Mark Goldfinger
Irving Mark Goldfinger serves as a Managing Director with Actualize Consulting and is in charge of our IT Technology Practice for the New York office of the firm.
Mr Goldfinger is working with investment banks, hedge funds, and insurance firms in the New York area on a number of Fixed Income and Derivative software initiatives in support of the Trading Desks, Operations and IT departments at these institutions. He is also involved in accounting and finance projects in support of the Controllers and Product Controllers.
Prior to Actualize Consulting, Mr. Goldfinger served at Credit Suisse for seventeen years. During that time he served as Global IT department head for a number of years.
Mr. Goldfinger received both of his degrees, a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Mathematics, from Brooklyn College, City University, NY, where he graduated Summa cum Laude.
