Culture
At Actualize, we want you to feel respected, supported, and appreciated. Check out the video below to see the 9 principles off of which our culture is based, and keep scrolling to see them in action.
Actualize Consulting has been Great Place to Work Certified and named one of The Washington Post’s 2020 Top Workplaces in the Washington, D.C. area. "I believe that our foundation of our people first and a keen focus on gratitude enables us to thrive. Communication, productivity, teamwork, employee engagement, and motivation all flourish when you infuse your corporate culture and life with gratitude,” said Chief Operating Officer Kerry Wekelo.
Top Workplace selection is based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, which measured several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection. Actualize Consulting’s culture is a testament to their Culture Infusion program, which is the impetus to Kerry’s second business book, Gratitude Infusion: Workplace Strategies for a Thriving Organizational Culture.

Charity

Corporate social responsibility plays a critical role in our business strategy and relates to our core purpose that takes pride in delivering results for our clients which includes our community. Actualize Consulting goes the extra mile to give a little something back to the community we live in whether it be providing shoes to the Doe Fund, lunches to a local shelter, supporting a backpack drive for underprivileged school children, contributing to holiday food and gift drives and even authoring and funding an activity book to children battling cancer.
Challenges
|
For us, charity isn't just a check in a box. We like to be present and hands-on in any charity initiative. Join us for fun challenges that give back to our local communities and incorporate a little healthy competition. The challenges are different each year and are huge successes in the firm. We usually partner with Alex's Lemonade Stand to raise money for childhood cancer during our September wellness challenges, and we partnered with The Doe Fund to help the homeless get back on their feet for our Intentional Acts of Kindness Challenge.
